Institute for Courageous School and District Leaders
Overview
Racially conscious school and district leadership remains fundamental to improving student achievement in the nation’s schools. Based on the book Principal Leadership for Racial Equity: A Field Guide for Developing Race Consciousness by Candace Raskin, Melissa Krull, and Antonia Felix, the Institute for Courageous School and District Leadership offers a two-year program that develops courageous school and district leaders dedicated to advancing school outcomes, opportunities, and experiences for all students with special attention to students of color.
Outcomes
As a graduate of the institute, you will be equipped with the confidence and competence to meet the needs of increasingly racially diverse school populations. Our graduates are interrupting the processes that perpetuate predictable racial achievement patterns in schools.
